Breaking: Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin is dead

Yesterday. kachblog.com reported that legendary Stevie Wonder paid a visit to his American gospel singer and queen of soul music, Aretha Franklin, well, she is dead. 

Report reaching us that the singer was diagnosed with cancer in 2012 and reportedly suffered from some major health issue ever since then. Pancreatic cancer has been cited as the cause of death. Prior to her death, tributes seems to have been comign form the United States President Donald Trump to  

According to reports, She began her career as a child singing gospel at New Bethel Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan, where her father, C. L. Franklin, was minister. In 1960, at the age of 18, she embarked on a secular career, recording for Columbia Records but achieving only modest success. After signing to Atlantic Records in 1967, Franklin achieved commercial acclaim and success with songs such as "Respect", "Chain of Fools", "Think", "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman", "Don't Play That Song (You Lied)", and "Spanish Harlem".

A mother of 4, dominated the music industry for five decades with her strong vocal skills and her powerful lyrics. Her music career earned 18 Grammy awards and sold over 75 million records.

Franklin is listed in at least two all-time lists on Rolling Stone magazine, including the (100 Greatest Artists of All Time), and the (100 Greatest Singers of All Time).
