WhatsApp Brings Group Voice And Video Calls Of Up To Four People

WhatsApp has added a much-requested feature to its platform this week – the ability to make encrypted voice and video calls between and up to four people at a time.
With WhatsApp’s 1.5 billion users who have spent over 2 billion minutes making calls on the App every day, will now be able to open their conversations to others as well. Starting this week, WhatsApp is adding group calling for voice and video to its App.
Users can make group calls with up to four people total – anytime and anywhere. As long as they’ve got an internet connection, that is. It’s straightforward to do. Simply start “a one-on-one voice or video call and tap the new ‘add participant’ button in the top right corner to add more contacts to the call.”
The new feature is currently rolling out on iOS and Android devices.
